As the club name says, the place glows! In all sorts of colors! Cool and comfortable interior, custom made for them. Excellent music from all sorts of house to grage to chill-out to anything and everything EXCEPT bloody ABBA and Bird McIntyre!

What’s your poison? You like vodka? GLOW got the largest selection of vodka in the whole of Bangkok! What? Did you say Absinthe? They got it! Whatever you fancy, they have it. If they don’t, they will get it for you within the hour. Now, that’s service!

Doors open as early as 6pm. Tapas galore! Are you a wine buff? Or just pretending to like wine to be in? – Well, you can start the night at Glow till you get into the right mood to party all night! Meet your friends here! It’s cool! Thursdays are ladies' night.

BEST CLUBS IN SE ASIA: Club Embassy | Manila

Manila’s answer to Southeast Asia’s Superclubs has got to be the hip, highly hoolabalooed Club Embassy at The Fort in Makati City. This is where the most beautiful people of Manila go on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights!

The whole concept is quite impressive although there's nothing new. The club is divided into 3 sections – the café, the lounge for VVIPs and the main dance floor. People-watching extravaganza and of course make sure they watch you too – come en vogue… gatekeepers can refuse entry.

The sound is in all sorts of house – deep, acid, garage, what-have-you. I was told that on some days they play trip hop and dance music. No shortage of booze but nothing really special. Just standard poison we find in any cosmopolitan city. Nothing fancy with the interior either – plain, huge and needs character. It’s funny to note that it looks like another club in LA or San Diego but thinking you are actually clubbing like this in Asia will blow you away.

Club Embassy is clustered with a number of other night spots, restaurants and lounges in a strip called The Fort – which is in the middle of a huge open space dotted with tall residential towers. The area looks like a typical American enclave lacking of any Filipino character. Is this what we’re doing to our cities lately?

Anyways…the best way to reach Club Embassy is by cab, if you’re a tourist. Just be prepared to wait a thousand years to catch another one when it’s time to go back to your hotel. Taxis are scarce in this area -- just so you know. If you’re driving, take McKinley Road from Ayala Avenue towards Bonifacio Global City (the name of the whole area).


Club doors open at 8pm and the seat-hugging patrons come shortly thereafter. Overly eager crowds come at 10pm but gorgeous people won’t start coming until around 1am. If you’re too early, try Prince of Jaipur next door. Excellent food and the ambiance is one of the best in the whole of Manila. A dinner at Prince of Jaipur is highly recommended by BISEAN.

BEST CLUBS IN SE ASIA: MOS Singapore

If you’re into real serious people watchin’ and you think you’re the best dancer in the whole of Southeast Asia, well – have I got a place for you.

If you like hot babes and gorgeous dudes pass in front of you by the hundreds or you like sweaty strutters rubbing their skin against you, well – this is your lucky day (I mean night!)

Think 50cents, Timbaland, Timberlake, ABBA, Gypsie Kings, Armand Van Helden, Timo Maas, Paul Van Dyk play under one roof...

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls…this is MOS Singapore. The “other” hottest night spot in the Lion City and one of the best in Southeast Asia! *those who disagree can go to hell. Ha!*


Ministry of Sound is divided into sections that plays different music genres. There’s the main dancefloor, the R&B room, Pure, Phuture and a lot more to whatever shakes your booty. And this place is HUGE! I mean HUUUGE! Even the “powder rooms” *ok, toilets* are effin’ huge!

If you ever went to a club and there are no people around, they are most likely at the MOS. Even hump days (Wed & Thu) this place is packed with clubbers! Please be warned that there are days that you can’t even walk around. *Wow! Just imagine how much “rubbin” and “friskin” are involved on your way to the bar! Woohoo!*

FABULOUS MUSIC in all capital letters! MOS resident and guest DJs rules! I wanna shake their hands and I really don’t know if they realized that they are the best in town. Well, if any of them is reading this – “Dudes! You rock! Hail MOS DJs!”

MOS is the best of Singapore clubbing. It has already passed the stage of “curious” clubbers. This is already an institution! So obviously, people would come here, right? So don’t be a big baby whining how the place is so crowded and all. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. The best has a price baby.

MOS is located at Block C, The Cannery, along River Valley Road at Clark Quay. It’s just at the end of Canning Lane.

BEST CLUBs in SE ASIA: Q Bar Bangkok

If you’re stunningly chic and gorgeous and want everybody to see how fabulous you are, here is where you must go. Q Bar Bangkok is an upscale New York-style lounge and the first international night club in the city.

There are 2 bars – one upstairs with a terrace where you can mingle, flaunt or just chill out and one on the main floor where the main dance floor is. It can get really crowded on weekends and navigating your way to the bar or to the loo is seemingly impossible.*ha!*

The music is up to date (electronica, hip hop, you name it) and the sound system is state of the art. International DJs spin here monthly and the in-house ones are the best in Bangkok *DJ Joeki rules! Sean rocks!*. Check out their website below to see which guest DJ is in town.

Bar opens at 8pm. Entrance cost is between 600-800 Baht, depending on days and events. It would usually get you 2 drinks. Booze selection is huge but we would recommend their wine list.

Whether they admit it or not, Q Bar’s biggest attraction is the crowd. Bangkok’s finest, moneyed, slim-gorgeous, just-got-off-the-catwalk young people populate the club *except for some "spectators"*. Designer-label is the only way to go but I have seen jeans-wearing, Giordano clad people managed to get it. *frowns*

AND (for christssake) whatever you do, never come on your sandals – even if you managed to trick the doorkeepers and got in, your toes would be totally mutilated on the dance floor when the crowd starts dancing on their Blahnik, Dingman, Prada or Ferragamo shoes.*consider yourself warned*

Located on the posh Sukhumvit Soi 11, practically any taxi jockey knows where it is, so don’t fret. I don’t think you’ll be taking the bus or the train to get there so let’s spare the blog space shall we?

Q Bar Bangkok has raised the standard of clubbing in Southeast Asia. There is simply no other place like it – one of SE Asia’s best clubs.

BEST CLUBS in SE ASIA: Maison KL

Think derelict chic -- the kind you see in a fashion magazine shoot. Think bare brick walls illuminated by vivid lights. Imagine chandeliers, steel partitions, throbbing lights in a Pre-WWII shop building. Think pink lights. Imagine people eager to know you, buy you drinks and display subtle sexual insinuations. This is MAISON...

Don't mistake it for the French word "house" because it doesn't get close to look like one. I discovered this club by word of mouth. A friend of a friend of a friend (and yet another friend) tipped me to check it out. This is how a club becomes GREAT. By word of mouth. No fancy adverts. No funky promos. Just plain no-holds-barred uber partying!

Maison is an emerging party icon in the chic city of Kuala Lumpur. This place will be a big ICON, I tell you. Have you ever gone to a club without planning to party anyway and just look around BUT somehow STILL ended up like a party animal, kicking your legs up in the high and shaking your booty? Yup, that's Maison. The DJ's will squeeze the party animal in you no matter how you repress it -- guaranteed.

Each night has a theme. So don't show up on your Playboy Bunny get up on a Thursday when it's Urban Republic night especially if you're a dude. Saturday nights is House music and Sunday is queer meat market. Yes, you heard me -- a meat market. Let's not be too discreet here, shall we? Gorgeous people come to Maison. Don't tell me you don't want to bring home one or two? Pffft!

And as they say in Maison: Celebrating life. Affirming beauty. Embracing you. *the "embracing you" part made my eyeballs roll five times.*

BEST CLUBS in SE ASIA: Narcissus Club Bangkok

This place used to be the most exclusive club in the whole of Bangkok. I’m NOT talking about being expensive and all...

Narcissus Club is absolutely one of the best happening places in all of Southeast Asia. Located in the posh area of Sukhumvit 23, this place is NOT for the party poopers, party crashers, old aunties and uncles, balding yuppies, 80-year-old hookers, paddy field maidens, t-shirt wearing goat herders, blue-jeans wearing social climbers and alike. No, these kinds are courteously referred to another club down the road.

Narcissus is grand, flamboyant, and ostentatious where everybody is hands down GORGEOUS! The best place to display yourself and be seen.

I was just here last night. The place is grander, sleazier with a lot of ugh! But the crowd, sad to say has changed.

You see, long ago... this place used to have “Uglies No Entry” policy. Think Studio 54, where Ryan Philippe has to take off his shirt to prove he’s one hot dude to get in! That’s the policy, if the floor manager don’t think you’re hot enough – “move over please dahlin’”.


I used to bring people that I don’t like to Narcissus. People from school or some friends of a friend of a friend who "thinks" they are so hot; they raise their noses so high. I would conspicuously invite and subject them to the door keeper’s cruel scrutiny… most of the time, they get left out. Opted to go back home humiliated; LOL. You're not too hot as you think you are huh! LOL. Those were the days.

The main sound here is Techno-Trance to cater to pill poppers, mushroom chewers and powder sniffers. When the confetti’s starts pouring, and the laser lights beam in full blast; this is the time everybody goes fucken wild! Ledge dancers, cage vixens (and occasional go-go boys) will gyrate like hell prompting everybody to do just about anything on the floor.

One can cruise to the upper levels of the club. Narcissus is designed like a huge mansion and an opera theater put together. This is where I got my first ever kissing orgy. Every single person in the club is so fucken gorgeous that night, I french kissed them all! I ended up bringing home 3 babes and 4 dudes and had the best sex party at my place! Oh, it gets painful just remembering that night.

But sad to say the crowd has changed. The uglies can get in and the old aunties can hang around and order drinks at the bar (displaying themselves for what?) Ha!

And also nowadays, Narcissus has become a tourist destination –for crying out loud! Japanese, Korean, Chinese tourists in knee-pants and Giordano shirts can get in and roam the club as they please. Somebody kill the tourist guides please! I beg you! And add the beer-drinking white trash tagging along their latest bitch from Soi Cowboy! Ugh!

I used to come here once week, but now the crowd has turned fuglies, I limit it to once in every three months. THOSE WERE THE DAYS. But Narcissus is still the best!

BEST CLUBS in SE ASIA: Velvet Underground Singapore

Velvet Underground is a nightclub that you will never forget (what’s the name again? Haha!) Chic, hip and artsy…tastefully decorated. This is one of the 2 hippest night club in the whole of Singapore (well, at least at the moment) and a visit here is a MUST. Think the 60's, think big loungy sofas and chill out sounds to pump your blood and fuel you to go up and about to display yourself for all the equally gorgeous people to see.

This is obviously a very exclusive club. But of course beautiful people like us are most welcome there. Velvet also serves as a display cabinet and hunting ground of local celebrities, models and wanna be starlets.

The sound is generally House, garage house or progressive house on the dance floor. But you will also hear other genres on some nights. The main room of the Velvet Underground is where most people will gather and the dance floor is always crowded in this club.

Velvet Underground is located at 17 Jiak Kim St...in the same complex with Zouk Singapore and Phuture. I featured Velvet because their music fits me best. Zouk and Phuture plays more on the Hip Hop/Trip Hop genre with a really boom-boom bass! Cool stuff! This complex is a one stop shop for party goers. More venue, more people to watch, more area to display yourself. You can't go wrong with this place. -- TAKE THAT!

BEST CLUBS in SE ASIA: Santika Club Bangkok

Beautiful music. Beautiful lights. Beautiful babes. Beautiful dudes. Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. That's all I can say. Take that!

Located in Bangkok's posh district of Wattana on Ekkamai 11, this is a place to go and display yourself. You wanna be seen? You can't go wrong with this place. Usually a mix crowd but you know what's "in" a mixed crowd... willing gorgeous dudes and babes to come home with you! Preferrably both of them please.

Santika Club is where the chic babes and stylish dudes go. So, you gotta be one yourself. Take that!

Y'gotta be careful a little bit though. Gorgeous people comes with a price. No, not a tag price but a look to match theirs. People who come here are so gorgeous that you could be ditched in a second! Here is where I got my first--ever....uhmmm...no, I don't wanna say...maybe another time. Take that!

And also, most clubs in Bangkok closes around 1 or 2 am. If you fancy a night with tight-fitting uniformed police and spend a night in jail...then stay longer than that for all I care. Don't tell me I didn't warn you.

Oh, if you come here, bring a click-counter with you. Y'know those small thingy to count hot babes and dudes that that guy on the Axe commercial use? You're gonna be needing that. My last count was 137 gorgeous babes and dudes. That's a lot in one room! Hmmmm....yummy!
