Q&A: What is your personal view on bisexual identity?

Since you are asking MY personal view, I’m not going to consult other bisexual support center or resources to get my point across.

I would say that we were all born with male and female hormones – the testosterone and the progesterone. Male and female characteristics. Higher levels of testosterone will make you more manly just the same with higher progesterone will make you a little princess – I mean, feminine.

I got three letters for you: T-N-P… testosterone-neutral (middle)-progesterone. I believe that we are all born in the middle. Were you born already knowing that you’re a boy or a girl? No -- so, you’re in the middle for the mean time until some Einstein tells you otherwise. T-N-P…testosterone-neutral-progesterone…

Either you go to the left or to the right OR stay in the middle.

If you're a dude who crossed to the right and decides to stay there, you become a gay. If you're a babe who crossed to the left and no one in the world would make you go back, you're a lesbian. Get it? What if you choose not to cross to any direction at all? What do you call that? --See what I mean?

A lot of factors in life would make, force or hijack you to choose either to go the left or to the right; to define your sexual orientation. Example is imitating or rejecting parental models. Men who imitate their mothers tend to be gentler and finessed as opposed to brusque and rough men who imitate their fathers. Same as with women.

Some "genius" would also play a great role in pushing you to either go to the left or to the right. Straight male friends would tell you how nice it is to f*** a pussy and straight female friends would tell you how nice it is to be f***ed and suck a d***. These geniuses has presented you a choice of EITHER activity to enjoy.

Q&A: "What the heck do you do?"

Songkran is on full swing and I had enough of it just yet. I have to go out there again tomorrow and rage more water wars then that’s it. Time to prepare for my trip to the Philippines next week.

I just got 4 emails today from my blog readers. Hmmm…ok, things are rolling now and people are starting to notice me here. Yikes! Thanks guys – take that! The one thing that strikes me is these 4 emails have the same question. Hmmm…ok, is this some kind of a conspiracy or sumthin’?

These people wanted to know what type of work I do. Work? What I do? Wait, I have to pull out a huge thesaurus to see what that means….I’m back……Here it is: Work [n.] labor, employment, occupation, job…oooooh! A job! *gasp and frown instantly*

Wait…I need a dictionary for this one. Maybe it would help….wait here…..ok, I’m back again….work starts with a “w”…turning the pages….searching….here! W!....work…..work *madly browsing the pages*….here it is!... Work [n.] 1. Exertion or effort directed to produce or accomplish something; labor; toil. 2. Employment, as in some form of industry, esp. as a means of earning one's livelihood…..I have to stop here. It all sounds Greek to me.


Alright, seriously guys, I have to answer the question here... I’m sure a lot of you were wondering and wanted to ask me the same question. The truth of the matter is... “I DON’T WORK”. There! It’s all out. Take that!

I don’t work because I don’t have to. *lower those f*cken eyebrows please* It’s a choice, a privilege. It’s not a duty and it is not a social responsibility either. I never held a job in my whole life. Welcome to the real world guys. Some people just “don’t have to" work.

I’m a free spirit. I do what I want to do and go where I want to go. As simple as that. And I cannot do all these simple things if I’m holding a position in a company. Much worse, they will most likely put me in an office for full 8 hours, make me do things I don't wanna do and that would make me fucken crazy!!!!!!!!!!

I know the next question in your head…where do you get your money? And a most apt follow up question: "how do you support yourself?" Well…life is good to me. That’s all I can say.

Q&A: Why would lesbians/gay men discriminate against bisexuals?

Because we are sometimes perceived as "hiding," a sense that some bisexuals use their bisexuality to look heterosexual at work, in straight social settings, to enjoy the "heterosexual privilege" that is part of the social norm. This has posed as one of the bigger issues that a bisexual has to deal with -- discriminated against by the gay community who we fought along with to fight discrimination. Ironic, isn't it?

Also, bisexuals are sometimes seen as blurring the issues and weakening the lesbian and gay movement. Naturally, bisexual activists disagree with this view! A further reason is that some lesbians and gay men also have sex with MOTOS* (while not identifying as bisexual). Often they can't admit this in the lesbian and gay communities, and see bisexuality as a threat to their safety and/or acceptance.

Q&A: Why do you think bi issues are different from gay issues, since all your problems come from the same source: homophobia?

While homophobia is a bi issue, we do also have concerns different from those of the gay community; the most striking being that of dealing with prejudice from the gay community itself! We are openly discriminated against by the gay community. Believe it or not.

Among our other concerns are dealing with the emotion of significant others, whom we do so deeply love, yet who cannot understand our attraction to MOTOS. And being accepted as bisexual if we only have one partner. And we have to deal with a lot of myths which surround bisexuality.

Q&A: Aren't bisexuals just going through a phase of being confused about their sexuality?

The simple answer is "no" or at least "not necessarily" - many of us are absolutely certain that we are attracted to both sexes; there is no confusion. Just as I personally put it: "I'm not confused. I'm just greedy". This simple phrase always make my point more understandable. Many people are bisexual for life, which proves it is not necessarily just a phase.

It is natural for people who are coming to terms with a sexuality which is not society's norm to be feel confused. For some people, bisexuality is a phase between homosexuality and heterosexuality (and the individual in question could be going in either direction); for others it can just be a brief experimentation. But for many people bisexuality is a lifelong, committed sexual orientation.

And even for those who ultimately do not stay bisexual for life, that does not make it any the less valid as a sexual orientation. Many people have reported that their sexual orientation has shifted over time; sexuality is dynamic, not fixed. For some people it may be a small shift, others a major change of lifestyle; but this does not make the points in between in any sense "wrong". Life is a continuous process, and few of us remain exactly the same over long periods of time.

Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of either gender or sex. A bisexual person is attracted to both men and women.

A bisexual may be more attracted to one sex than the other, attracted equally to both, or find people's sex unimportant. The strength of their attractions to men and women may vary over time. Bisexual people are not necessarily attracted equally to both genders.

Due to the nature of bisexuality as an often ambiguous position between homosexuality and heterosexuality, those who identify, or are identified, as bisexuals form a heterogenous group.

Some view that bisexuality is a distinct sexual orientation different from heterosexuality or homosexuality. This views bisexuality as something clearly distinct from these other two sexualities, with a clear attraction to both men and women required.
