MEOW MEOW from KUCHING

Sawasdee khrap from Kuching! We’ve been very occupied (read as “lazy”) and didn’t had the chance to post anything on this blog for a couple of days (read as “it’s hard to find Internet in Northern Laos”) and I’m saying hi from this unexpected trip to Kuching – my favourite word at the moment – because it means "pussy cat" in Malay. *I just added the pussy to make it sound scandalous. lol!*

Kuching is one of the few places in our region with a very interesting name. Like that city in Indonesia called "Pontianak" which means "vampire"! *Ok, make that blood-sucking vampire* Woohoo!

We came here straight from Luang Prabang in Laos and a short stop over in KL. This is my 2nd time here and never had the chance to truly explore this city – the largest in Borneo. This city is in the league of Chiang Mai, Surabaya, Cebu, Nha Trang, Davao, Sihanoukville, etc. – emerging playgrounds of the true jet-setters!

Well, anyways…What do the “Pussy Cat” has to offer? Well, let’s find out.

We’ll catwalk around town and find something interesting enough for a blog post. This is goin’ to be exciting worthy of a purrrr…

"MAAYONG PAGABOT" TO DAVAO CITY!

I met Sofia, Morgan and Tommy at the Davao International Airport earlier today. They came straight from Singapore, while I came from Manila yesterday.

We came here for 3 reasons: [1] To concede to the “persistent” invitation of one of our readers (who wish to remain anonymous) [2] To see a Philippine Eagle in flight and [3] To see a chance to meet the world famous Mayor of Davao City.

Ever since we saw a feature of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte a.k.a. “the Punisher” *whoah!* on Thai television, we knew we had to pay him a visit. Or at least see the city which he famously “revitalized”. Leaders like him are rare in Southeast Asia – fearless, non-conformist, and tough. We’d like to know more about him and maybe we can arrange a meeting or something.

We’ll let you know if we see other things worth mentioning. It’s about time our region knows more about this city. Stay tuned.

WELCOME to Bi.S.E.A.N.

Curiosity kicked in. Brows are frowning. You got an idea but you still wanna know what the heck this blog is about. I have a choice to let you all keep guessing. But what the heck...here it is.

I always wanted to blog. I planned it a year ago. But what in the world would I blog about? About me? -- I'm not that interesting (I think) -- I'm tryig to be modest here and don't wanna toot my own horn (yet) but hey, I got more than 10,000 friends on MySpace. How's that? Huh!
Shall I blog about...huh?....wha'?

Ok! Ok! Enough running around. This blog is mainly about the silent minority in the LGTB. GLBT, BTLG or however you want to arrange those four beautiful letters. For people who's been to Mars for the last 5 years, LGTB stands for Lesbian, Gay, Transexual (is it? or Tranvestite?) and Bisexuals. I belong to the "B". And fucking proud of it! See our flag fly!

This blog is also about everything South East Asian. Again, for those people who's been to Mars (and Venus) for the past 50 years -- South East Asia is....well, in Asia. In the Southeastern corner of it! Take that! This is where I live -- paradise!

The ASEAN or the Association of South East Asian Nations is the main place of this blog. They are the countries of (in alphabetical order -- I don't want to offend anyone) -- Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

I will blog everything from cool places to hang out.... to hot places to display yourself and be seen....to everything hip and what's new... to food, to culture and of course, SEX! Do you think I don't know that sex sells? The top blogs around the net are full of pictures of naked men, women and ...uhhh...dogs. You'll be seeing a lot of 'em here to keep you all coming back. But no pornography, sorry. Well, that's the plan.

This blog would also showcase EURASIANS. People like me. Mix-blood people who came from Southeast Asia. Yours truly, Pisanu is Thai-Belgian. :-)
